Hello there!
I’m Andrea, a Senior UX Researcher at Scotiabank, where I lead the UX Research practice within the Global Transaction Banking (GTB) team.
I partner with design, product, tech, and CX teams to better understand corporate, commercial, and small business banking users across global markets, including Canada, the United States, Mexico, Peru, and the Caribbean.
My work focuses on helping teams navigate ambiguity and get closer to users, translating qualitative and quantitative insights into clear recommendations that guide product strategy, design decisions, and service improvements.
I hold a Master of Information from the University of Toronto, specializing in UX Design (completed October 2024).

What drives me
I believe decision-making should be guided by a deep and informed understanding of lived experience: of the people who experience the service, and the people who deliver it.
I get energy from helping leaders re-frame the challenge at hand, talking to the people for whom this impacts, and figuring out how to operationalise solutions across relationships and implementation.
